COMMUNICATIONS TERMINAL (CT)

The Communications Terminal Working Group focuses on formulating and developing standards to support service delivery across fixed and wireless networks. It reviews existing standards, gathers insights from public expectations, industry updates, and regulatory policies, and addresses technical constraints in emerging technologies by proposing recommendations for improvement. The group works to expand the scope of standards for future advancements, organises seminars and awareness talks to enhance industry competency and public understanding, and actively participates in MCMC, regional, and international activities, including those under ITU and APT.

Highlights

The Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB) under the Communications Terminal Working Group (CT WG) convened a Technical Code Development Workshop at Mercure Kuala Lumpur, Glenmarie from 27 to 28 August 2025. The two-day session gathered industry experts, academia, and stakeholders to deliberate on the development of new Technical Codes (TCs) that will support Malaysia’s future connectivity landscape.
