oneM2M Technical Plenary and Industry Day Workshop

The 72nd oneM2M Technical Plenary (TP) and oneM2M Industry Day Workshop were successfully held from 10–14 November 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), and the Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB). The event was supported by the EU-funded project InDiCo-Global and TTA.

Strengthening Global Collaboration in IoT Standardisation

The week-long meeting gathered oneM2M members, partners, and observers from around the world to discuss and align on the advancement of open and interoperable standards for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications. As an observer, MTSFB gained valuable exposure to the workings of the plenary, observing how oneM2M members coordinate, deliberate, and progress their standardisation activities.
