MTSFB Participates as Strategic Exhibitor at IRC 2026

The Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB) participated as a strategic exhibitor at the International Regulatory Conference 2026 (IRC 2026), organised by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) on 21–22 July 2026 at the Grand Ballroom, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.

Held under the theme “Shaping the Next Digital Era: Regulation, Resilience and Trust”, IRC 2026 brought together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, academics and experts from Malaysia and abroad to exchange perspectives on emerging regulatory issues, digital transformation, technological developments and the future of the communications and multimedia ecosystem.

Through its participation, MTSFB showcased its role in supporting the development of industry-led Technical Codes, promoting standards adoption and facilitating collaboration across the communications and multimedia industry. Visitors to the MTSFB booth were also introduced to the Forum’s Working Groups, Industry Promotion and Development Grant (IPDG) programme and membership opportunities.

A key focus during the exhibition was to create greater awareness of MTSFB’s Associate Individual Membership, which provides professionals, researchers, engineers, academics and other technical experts with opportunities to participate in Working Groups, contribute to Technical Code development and engage with the wider industry community.

MTSFB’s participation at IRC 2026 also provided an opportunity to engage with local and international delegates, strengthen relationships with stakeholders and promote greater industry participation in the development of technical standards that support a trusted, resilient and future-ready digital ecosystem.

MTSFB remains committed to fostering collaboration between industry, government, academia and technical experts in advancing Malaysia’s communications and multimedia standards landscape.
