PE: Basic Civil Works & Fixed Network Facilities

On 12th November 2024, the Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB) successfully conducted the Public Engagement Session at the MTREE Hotel, Puchong, Selangor. The session provided an open platform for stakeholders to review and comment on two draft Technical Codes (TCs) as part of the Public Comment Exercise. The draft TCs presented were:

  • MTSFB2304R0, Basic Civil Works – Last Mile Fixed Network Telecommunications Pole

  • MTSFB2407R0, Fixed Network Facilities – In-building and External for Brownfield

The presentation of these drafts was led by two esteemed Fixed Network Facilities (FNF) Experts, Ts. Sufian Sulaiman and En. Eami Yusry Mohd Yusof. Their insights facilitated a deeper understanding of the technical and operational aspects of these codes, aimed at ensuring the robustness and reliability of Malaysia’s fixed network infrastructure.

The feedback gathered during this session plays a pivotal role in refining the draft TCs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and relevance. MTSFB extends its gratitude to all participants for their constructive feedback and active participation, which strengthens the foundation for a resilient and future-ready telecommunications framework.
