AI-IoT Today & Beyond: Standards, Intelligence & Connected Systems

On 21 January 2026, Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd convened industry leaders, standards experts and innovators for a high-impact Tech Talk on “AI-IoT Today & Beyond: Standards, Intelligence and Connected Systems.” The session explored how intelligent systems, AI-driven insights and global standards are shaping the future of connected technologies, spanning infrastructure, mobility, enterprise and urban ecosystems.

The programme brought together strategic, technical and practical perspectives, reinforcing the importance of standards in enabling trusted, interoperable and intelligent AI-IoT deployments.

Key Highlights

The Tech Talk featured a series of presentations covering strategic perspectives, technical developments and real-world applications of AI-IoT, including:

The session also benefited from diverse perspectives shared by speakers and panellists, highlighting the value of collaborative and consensus-based standards development in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
