On 10th December 2024, the Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB) organized the ‘Jom Digital: Unlocking Smart Manufacturing Potential’ event at the Eastin Hotel, Bayan Lepas, Penang. This prestigious gathering brought together distinguished industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders to explore transformative opportunities for Malaysia’s manufacturing sector.
The event emphasized innovative solutions and strategic frameworks aimed at accelerating digital transformation, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainability in alignment with Industry 4.0 and the Penang 2030 vision. Attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the pivotal role of interconnected ecosystems in driving innovation and maximizing returns on investment, thereby strengthening Malaysia’s position within the global value chain. Key highlights included the presentation of the Smart Manufacturing Framework, expert panel discussions, and case study sessions.
MTSFB extends its deepest appreciation to Mr. Qing Lin Fang, Head of Corporate at Maxis, for delivering an inspiring keynote address that set the tone for the event.
