Sharing Session on 5G Private Network & Use Cases from Korea

On January 9, 2025, MTSFB hosted a highly informative Zoom session featuring Mr. Jaehyeong Kim, CEO of EUCAST Co., Ltd., and Ms. Kyusoon Hwang, Director of Wizcore INC. and Chair of the Smart Manufacturing Committee, 6G Forum. The discussion focused on 5G private network use cases and specialised services tailored to the Korean manufacturing environment, offering valuable insights for the development of the Technical Code on IMT-2020 (Fifth Generation) – System and Specifications for Non-Public Networks (NPN).

  1. To develop IoT-related technical reports, guidelines, recommendations and standards.
  2. To work on Smart Sustainable Cities and 4th Industrial Revolution Technical Documents that are specific to IoT.
  3. To advise regulatory, legal and governmental bodies on IoT.
  4. To be involved in the IoT conferences and standards meeting such as ITU SG 20.
  5. To hold seminars on IoT standards and new emerging applications.
  6. To provide and create interoperability and conformance testing standards for IoT products.
